Job Description
As an offshore Able Seaman/Welder your primary responsibilities typically involves a combination of duties related to seamanship and welding.
Stand watch on deck and in the engine room as directed by the officer on duty, handle lines during mooring and unmooring operations, assist with cargo handling and storage but also perform welding and cutting tasks as required for ship repair and maintenance, select appropriate welding equipment, materials, and techniques for specific tasks and conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
