Overview of the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Full Stack Engineer to join our team and help build out key features for our Next.js application over the next year. This role involves working on both the frontend and backend focusing on enhancing user experience ensuring attention to detail and fostering effective collaboration within the team.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Volunteer Management / Signups Survey: Enhance existing features and implement additional functionalities as needed.
• Underlying Directory: Design and develop a comprehensive directory to support our application.
• Payments/Donations: Integrate Stripe for seamless payment processing and donation management.
• Communications: Develop a robust communication module to facilitate interaction within the PTSA community.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer preferably with Next.js.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript React).
• Experience with backend development particularly with Node.js.
• Familiarity with database design and management.
• Experience with Stripe integration or other payment processing systems.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
