Job Title: Java WebSphere
Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

• Design develop and maintain Javabased applications using IBM WebSphere
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues providing timely support to endusers
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of current tools technologies and frameworks
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Experience in Java development
• Strong experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server
• Proficiency in Java J2EE JSP Servlets EJB and JDBC
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and AJAX
• Experience in RESTful and SOAP web services
• Experience with relational databases particularly SQL and DB2
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Commerce
• Certification in IBM WebSphere or related technologies is a plus
