Job Title: LMS admin (Brightspace)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Brightspace LMS ensuring optimal performance and usability
- Manage user accounts roles and permissions within the LMS
- Provide technical support and training to users including instructors and students
- Assist in the creation and uploading of course content ensuring it meets organizational standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the LMS escalating to vendor support when necessary
- Monitor system performance usage and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with instructional designers faculty and IT staff to enhance the learning experience
- Stay current with Brightspace updates and new features implementing them as appropriate
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for LMS users
- Ensure data integrity and security within the LMS
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Education or a related field
- Proven experience as an LMS Administrator with specific expertise in Brightspace
- Strong understanding of LMS architecture functionalities and best practices
- Proficiency in managing and supporting Brightspace LMS including troubleshooting and user support
- Excellent technical skills including knowledge of HTML CSS and basic web development
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Certification in Brightspace Administration is a plus
