40 hours per week with rotating weekend OnCall Schedule
Position Highlights:
- Signon Bonus:$10000 signon bonus eligible position!
- Shift Schedule:Full time Day Shift 8:00am4:30pm(Oncall once per month) or 4 x 10hrs

WhatYou llNeed:
- Radiation Oncology Certificate and/orAssociatesdegree in Radiation Therapy Technology
- IDNS License
- Current ARRTregistry or registry eligible
- New Grads welcome to apply
- Developing ability to work with ill patients and their families in an empathetic fashion
- Computer knowledge
What will youdo:
Assiststhe physician in localizing tumor volumesutilizingCT Simulator
Administers Radiation Therapy treatments in compliance with physician prescription and treatment plan.
Maintainsaccuratetreatment records.
Calculatesinterpretsandutilizescomputer plans.
Performs and records daily and monthly QA machine checks.
Assistsin the orientation and education of patientsregardingtreatments and side effects.
Instructs and supervises any students while training in facility.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position requires heavy lifting of equipment and patients. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. repeatedly.
- Standard precautions for dealing with body substances and hazardous materials.
- Standard precautions for radiation safety per IDNS.
- If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes anypreviouslifting requirement effective 06/01/2015.
- Ability tolift upto 35 pounds withoutassistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds or when patient is unable toassistwith the lift patient handling equipment is expected to be used with at least one other associate when available.
- Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a casebycase basis.
