Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough patient consultations and examinations to diagnose gastrointestinal disorders.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Performing endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopies and colonoscopies.
• Providing expert advice and guidance to medical staff on complex gastroenterological cases.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment options.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology and incorporating them into clinical practice.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all patient care activities.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and experiences.
• Participating in research initiatives and clinical trials related to gastrointestinal diseases.
• Conducting health education programs for patients and the community on gastrointestinal health and disease prevention.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in gastroenterology.
• Board certification in gastroenterology from the appropriate medical board.
• Valid state medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures including gastroscopies and colonoscopies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced clinical environment and manage multiple priorities.
