Overview

Key responsibilities

• Conducting consultations and physical examinations of patients
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging
• Performing endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies and gastroscopies
• Diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions and diseases
• Developing and implementing treatment plans and providing ongoing care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Ensuring compliance with medical standards regulations and ethical guidelines
• Participating in medical research and academic activities
• Providing patient education and counseling on preventive measures
• Participating in departmental meetings and initiatives

Required qualifications

• DM or DNB certification in Gastroenterology
• Valid medical license and registration
• Proven experience in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system disorders
• Capability to perform endoscopic procedures independently
• Strong knowledge of medical guidelines and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
