Job Description

Job Summary
To lead the Sales & Business Development in the designated territory and specified customers.
Reports To Director Sales
Matrix Relationship Manufacturing Research & Development Supply Chain and other support functions

Responsibilities
The position has complete responsibility of achieving Sales Revenues for the designated territory & customer base.
To develop new customers & new businesses in the designated territory.
To develop a robust business development pipeline of projects and ensure timely & effective conversion.
Responsible for Key Account Management grow strategic customer partnerships nurture & manage relationships all levels within the customer companies.
Expand & grow companys customer base thereby establishing a strong Bayfield brand in the market place.
Manage new projects with customers while closely coordinating with the relevant functions like R & D Production Supply Chain.
Work towards establishing a strong market position for Bayfield ensure that business & sales is profitable.
Work towards the development of the work ethic culture and values of the sales and business development group. Through personal example establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company s ethical & professional dealings in the marketplace.
Financial Discipline and compliance to companies policies
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate ; MBA & Food Technology Degree preferred ; 2 5 years experience.
Domain knowledge of Seasonings / Savoury / Food Ingredients / Flavours.
Ability to independently manage the entire customer base in a given territory.
Exposure of business development.
Exposure of working in companies of relevance.
Ability to establish a Regional Sales strategy to work in assigned markets with focused sales approach.
Expertise in B2B Sales & Customer Management.
Ability to build long term relationships with Key Accounts
Characteristics
A passionate and a resultdriven doer has the ability to understand business needs find the solutions and put good ideas into action.
Ability to work in a matrix organization & a Team Player.
Honest & Ethical.
An excellent Sales person; able to independently develop nurture and manage customer relationships.
Hard working gogetter outofthe box thinker and willing to work in a boundaryless organisation.
