PHP Software Developer-Remote

Rocket Learning is a high growth edtech nonprofit with the mission of catalyzing early childhood education and community engagement in India. We work with central government and state governments to impact over 1mn children. We are looking for a passionate and responsible Software Developer with at least 2 years of experience and expertise with PHP and 1 years of experience in Laravel to join our team who should be able to create a functional and attractive platform while mentoring the team members and ensuring great user experience.

1. Connect with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide better solutions.

2. Able to solve potential problems.

3. Writing reusable code considering edge cases and unpredictable user behaviour

4. Design thinking and building solutions with scalability and stability in mind.

1. Building features from scratch and improving the existing ones in PHP/Laravel

2. Writing quality code with proper documentation/comments and best practices

3. Communicating the work progress with manager and other stakeholders as applicable

4. Performing other relevant day to day operational tasks

1. The assigned projects from endtoend

2. Communication from the design phase/requirements to announcing the launch

3. Being a team player or working independently as applicable.

1. 2 years of experience with PHP

2. 1 years of experience with Laravel

3. Good understanding/experience working with MySQL OOPS

4. Seamless communication with your manager and other team members
