Overview:
The Spa Therapist plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional spa treatments and experiences for clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of spa services including massages body treatments and facials
- Assess clients needs and create customized treatment plans
- Provide professional recommendations for home care and continued wellness
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all equipment and tools
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of spa products services and packages
- Adhere to all safety sanitation and infection control procedures
- Engage with clients to promote a positive and memorable experience
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment
- Assist in the promotion and organization of special events and promotions
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized massage therapy or spa therapy program
- Valid state licensure and/or certification as a Spa Therapist
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated proficiency in various massage techniques and body treatments
- Strong understanding of proper body mechanics and ergonomics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of spa products retail and sales techniques
