Spa Therapist

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a variety of spa services including massages body treatments and facials
• Assess clients needs and create customized treatment plans
• Provide professional recommendations for home care and continued wellness
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all equipment and tools
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of spa products services and packages
• Adhere to all safety sanitation and infection control procedures
• Engage with clients to promote a positive and memorable experience
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment
• Assist in the promotion and organization of special events and promotions

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized massage therapy or spa therapy program
• Valid state licensure and/or certification as a Spa Therapist
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated proficiency in various massage techniques and body treatments
• Strong understanding of proper body mechanics and ergonomics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of spa products retail and sales techniques
• Commitment to upholding the highest level of professionalism and customer service
