Overview:
As an MBBS Emergency Medical Officer (EMO) at our Lunawada Gujarat location you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients arriving at the emergency department. You will work in a fastpaced environment making critical decisions and employing various medical procedures to stabilize patients and ensure their wellbeing. Your expertise will be vital in not only diagnosing and treating emergent conditions but also providing compassionate and effective care to patients in distress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and triaging patients based on their medical needs
- Administering urgent medical interventions to stabilize patients
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Providing timely and accurate documentation of patient care
- Participating in medical rounds and case discussions
- Conducting emergency medical procedures as required
- Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and standards
- Overseeing the smooth functioning of the emergency department
- Communicating effectively with patients families and staff
- Participating in continuous medical education and training
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives
- Adhering to ethical and legal standards in healthcare
- Supervising junior medical staff and support personnel as needed
- Responding to medical emergencies within the facility
Required Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Gujarat
- Proven experience in emergency medicine or relevant clinical setting
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Sound medical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle highpressure situations with composure
- Good problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
- Understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to oncall duties
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
