Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret medical imaging including Xrays MRI CT scans and ultrasounds.
• Collaborate with other physicians to recommend further diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging procedures and reports.
• Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
• Consult with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
• Provide expert guidance to medical staff and technologists on imaging procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases.
• Conduct research and contribute to academic publications in the field of radiology.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Radiology.
• Board certification from the National Board of Examinations (DNB) in Radiology.
• DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radiology and Diagnosis) qualification.
• Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist in Ludhiana.
• Proven experience in interpreting and analyzing medical imaging.
• Familiarity with radiology information systems and picture archiving and communication systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced and highpressure environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
