Overview
As a Radiologist MD DNB DMRD in Ludhiana you will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and diseases through the use of medical imaging techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the accuracy of patient diagnoses and treatment plans making a significant impact on their healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret medical imaging including Xrays MRI CT scans and ultrasounds.
- Collaborate with other physicians to recommend further diagnostic or treatment procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging procedures and reports.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Consult with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
- Provide expert guidance to medical staff and technologists on imaging procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases.
- Conduct research and contribute to academic publications in the field of radiology.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Radiology.
- Board certification from the National Board of Examinations (DNB) in Radiology.
- DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radiology and Diagnosis) qualification.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist in Ludhiana.
- Proven experience in interpreting and analyzing medical imaging.
- Familiarity with radiology information systems and picture archiving and communication systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced and highpressure environment.
