Job Description

Overview:

The Assistant Manager O&M plays a crucial role in overseeing the daytoday operations and maintenance activities within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of various operational processes managing a diverse team and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and coordinating operational activities to meet organizational goals
  • Developing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure operational efficiency
  • Leading and managing a team of operations and maintenance staff
  • Identifying and resolving operational and maintenancerelated issues
  • Assessing and optimizing operational processes to improve overall efficiency
  • Monitoring and maintaining equipment and facilities to minimize downtime
  • Overseeing inventory management to ensure adequate supply of operational materials
  • Collaborating with internal teams to streamline operational processes
  • Producing regular operational and maintenance reports for management review
  • Training and developing staff to enhance their skills and productivity
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Participating in the development of O&M budgets and managing expenses effectively
  • Implementing strategies for continuous improvement in operational and maintenance functions
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues related to operational activities
  • Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in operations and maintenance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or related field
  • Proven experience in operations and maintenance management
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for O&M management
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
  • Understanding of budgeting and financial management principles
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in operational processes
  • Certification in Operations Management or related field is preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving operational targets and KPIs
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with crossfunctional teams
  • Flexibility to work additional hours and travel as required
