Quantity Surveyor - Ashok Nagar - Immediate Joiners

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
• Conduct cost analysis and advise on alternative proposals
• Undertake cost control of all stages of the construction project
• Identify potential financial or constructionrelated risks and provide viable solutions
• Manage and maintain accurate project documentation
• Collaborate with various stakeholders such as architects engineers and contractors
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects
• Monitor changes in design scope and materials and adjust budget accordingly
• Handle payments to contractors and subcontractors
• Provide expert advice on legal and contractual issues
• Utilize software and tools for efficient cost management
• Participate in project meetings and provide accurate cost reports
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
• Conduct valuations and prepare progress reports
• Resolve any disputes related to the cost of the project

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional certification or licensure in Quantity Surveying
• 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements
• Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Indepth knowledge of construction materials methods and processes
• Proven track record of delivering costeffective solutions
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards
• Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations
