Site Engineer - West Mogapair - Freshers Hiring

Overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage onsite construction activities and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress and report on construction status to project managers.
• Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to discuss project specifications and resolve any issues.
• Oversee the implementation of construction plans and schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with building codes quality standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety or construction issues.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Document and report on any deviations or changes to project specifications.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment required for construction projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other software for project documentation and design.
• Resolve engineering issues by applying principles of engineering construction and mathematics.
• Contribute to the development and updating of project budgets and schedules.
• Participate in project meetings and effectively communicate project progress and issues.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Previous internship or coop experience in construction or engineering is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with building codes regulations and safety standards.
• Project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of construction materials and methods.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Flexibility to travel to various project sites as needed.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable construction practices.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
