Expertise spanning:
  • various project models such as Wind Solar Hybrid and Battery storage including turnkey solutions.
  • all types of Contracts / PPAs / Financial models / structures including Central State Federal and Bilateral PPAs.
JOB PURPOSE: (prime focus and objective of the position)
This position will be responsible for to identify opportunities in renewable energy supply chain management and work with the asset management team to facilitate the successful completion and management of a large portfolio of renewable energy contracts. This role will provide the candidate with a unique opportunity to join a high impact team and gain a wide range of exposure to global energy markets.
The successful candidate will have experience in renewable energy supply chain management and if possible experience managing wholesale power contracts. This position will work closely with Asset Management and Projects Team to foster strategic commercial relationships with suppliers identify new corporate engagement models for renewable energy major equipment and demonstrate strong analytical skills through a proven ability to negotiate supply contracts and deliver results. We run a fastpaced and dynamic work environment so the right candidate will be able to move quickly while maintaining quality work products.

Responsibilities

To develop and implement a procurement and supply plan for WTG and major renewable equipment / contracts to support a project in pipeline for both our existing portfolio as well as new procurement.
Effectively support the negotiation of agreements for items related to scope price terms & conditions delivery and contract changes with suppliers.
Provide support for contract negotiations with actionable feedback on vendor performance and portfolio risks and opportunities.
Remain informed on current procurement trends regulatory issues and technological updates.
Proactively identify opportunities to reduce supply chain risk for our renewable energy to ensure that contracts delivery is in line with our timing expectations to meet company goals.
Ongoing contract administration for major supply agreements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate information is shared on a timely basis with legal tax accounting and finance.
Develop and maintain internal scorecards to prioritize suppliers.
Work with technical finance and treasury teams to support bankability of suppliers and technologies.
Knowledge of CTU/ISTS reverse auction & its impacts on WTG pricing trends.
Knowledge on Wind Energy Converter and its major components sourcing like generator gearbox converter tower and internals (including LT and HT power cables) etc.
Sourcing experience related to steel plates flanges and internals for WTG towers including contracting with major manufacturers.
Understand WTG requirements on logistics custom clearances related documentation from compliance aspects etc. (If any)
Handled WTG supply related insurance.
Experience and Knowledge in O&M contracts.
Minimum 12 years of work experience is must. IPP experience will be given preferences.
Experience of handling minimum contract size of at least 300 MW.
Experience of handling and managing Letter of Credit (LC).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in economics finance business administration engineering sustainability or equivalent work experience and expertise.
10 years of experience in strategic sourcing functions commodity management and contract negotiation experience.
SCM skills working with large scale solar wind and/or storage development projects.
Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail to support review and interpretation of contracts and ensure vendor compliance.
Proactive team player with high emotional intelligence capable of adapting to ambiguous environments with crossgroup collaboration and problemsolving abilities.
Growth mindset with problemsolving skills.
Willing to relocate HO Mumbai MH
Preferred Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in a relevant field is a plus though experience in consulting and power/energy industries may substitute for relevant graduate education.
12 years of experience in SCM and contract management.
