Job Description

Overview:

We are hiring Store Keeper for a leading Construction Company
The Store Keeper plays a critical role in the organizations supply chain management by overseeing the efficient receipt storage and dispatch of a wide range of products. They are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all items are stored in a safe and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive inspect and safely store incoming goods
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages
  • Ensure all stock is organized for easy access and retrieval
  • Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to replenish stock as needed
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status including stock levels and adjustments
  • Perform regular stock audits to reconcile physical stock with records
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Manage and maintain the warehouse and storage facilities
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries
  • Oversee and participate in the loading and unloading of goods
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory
  • Train and supervise junior staff members
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of inventory management processes

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a store keeper or similar position
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software
  • Physical strength and stamina for lifting and moving heavy items
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of safety and quality standards
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends as needed
  • Basic math and numerical skills
  • Adherence to ethical and professional standards
