Job Description: Junior Fashion Designer at Janasya

Janasya is seeking a passionate and creative Junior Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Fashion Designer you will play a crucial role in contributing to Janasya s design process and bringing our brand s vision to life through innovative and trendsetting fashion pieces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of style and creativity coupled with a keen understanding of market trends and consumer preferences. From assisting in creating detailed tech packs to participating in garment trials and conducting photography sessions you will have the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of the design process.

Creating Detailed Tech Packs:

Develop detailed technical specifications and tech packs for all product designs.

Ensure accuracy and completeness in tech pack documentation to facilitate smooth production processes.

Involvement in Design Process and Coordination:

Collaborate with senior designers to conceptualize and develop new designs.

Assist in the design process from ideation to finalization ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends.

Coordinate with crossfunctional teams such as production sourcing and quality assurance to ensure timely execution of design projects.

Maintaining Excels:

Manage and update spreadsheets and databases related to design materials samples and production schedules.

Organize data efficiently to streamline workflows and improve team productivity.

Conducting Trials and Photography:

Participate in garment trials to evaluate fit fabric and construction quality.

Assist in organizing and conducting photo shoots for product samples ensuring highquality imagery for marketing and promotional purposes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

Previous experience in a similar role or internship within the fashion industry preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
