Job Description

Job Description: Senior Sales Director Healthcare

Position Title: Senior Sales Director / Senior Section Head

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Sales Director to lead our IT Healthcare Division. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 years of experience in sales and leadership within the healthcare IT sector demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales growth building strategic relationships and exceeding sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare IT solutions and the ability to lead and inspire a highperforming team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share in the healthcare IT sector.
  • Lead mentor and manage a team of sales and delivery professionals fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with hospitals clinics healthcare systems and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong longterm relationships with key clients ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and aligning solutions to meet those needs.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing ensuring exceptional customer experience at every stage.
  • Collaborate with the product development marketing and customer support teams to ensure the alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends competitive landscape and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts performance reports and strategic plans to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences trade shows and networking events to promote our healthcare IT solutions and expand professional networks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Healthcare Administration or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • 20 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the healthcare IT sector.
  • Indepth knowledge of healthcare IT systems and other clinical applications.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience in leading largescale projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP CPHIMS CISSP) are a plus.
  • Experience working with large healthcare systems and integrated delivery networks.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the healthcare industry.
