Position Title: General Manager

Location: Nigeria

Experience Required: Minimum 14 years
Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our operations in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 14 years of experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Nigeria operations ensuring alignment with the companys overall objectives and goals.
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency productivity and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Foster a culture of safety innovation and continuous improvement.
  1. Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients partners government agencies and community leaders.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and manage key accounts to ensure longterm business relationships.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets financial forecasts and reports to ensure profitability and financial stability.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Optimize resource allocation and manage cost control measures.
  1. Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of all business units within the Nigeria division.
  • Implement best practices in operational processes project management and quality assurance.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of facilities equipment and infrastructure.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all local national and international laws and regulations pertaining to the oil and gas industry.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  1. Human Resources Management:
  • Lead mentor and develop a highperforming team.
  • Oversee talent acquisition retention and development initiatives.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field; a Master s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing largescale operations and achieving business growth.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of the oil and gas industry including regulatory requirements and market trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and challenging environment.
