Job Description
As a Website Design/WordPress Intern you will have the opportunity to learn and apply your design and technical skills to enhance our website and digital assets. Working closely with our design and development team you will contribute to the creation and maintenance of visually appealing userfriendly websites using WordPress as the primary platform.
Responsibilities:
Website Design and Development:
Assist in the design and development of responsive and visually appealing websites using WordPress.
Collaborate with the design team to create engaging layouts graphics and other design elements.
Customize and integrate WordPress themes to align with the companys branding and design guidelines.
Content Management:
Update and manage website content ensuring accurate and uptodate information.
Optimize images videos and other media for web performance and user experience.
Plugin Integration and Maintenance:
Install and configure WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to plugins themes or website performance.
User Experience Enhancement:
Contribute ideas to improve user experience site navigation and overall website functionality.
Implement best practices for user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design to create intuitive and userfriendly interfaces.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the design development and content teams to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
Participate in team meetings to share progress insights and ideas for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Web Design Graphic Design Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and basic understanding of JavaScript.
- Familiarity with WordPress and its ecosystem including themes plugins and basic customization.
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator) or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Selfmotivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design trends.

Duration:
This is a fulltime internship position with an expected duration of 6 months starting from. The internship may be conducted remotely or onsite depending on the companys policies and your location.
