Overview

Key responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable finished product ready for broadcasting
• Employ latest editing software and techniques to create engaging and compelling video content
• Collaborate with the content and creative teams to understand the project requirements and goals
• Ensure the video content aligns with the organization s brand and editorial policies
• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video editing including sound lighting and camera operation
• Apply creative thinking to develop new concepts and ideas for video content
• Ensure all video content is accurate consistent and in line with healthcare industry standards
• Adhere to tight deadlines and execute timesensitive tasks efficiently
• Organize and manage the video library ensuring easy accessibility and storage of all video assets
• Collaborate with directors producers and other team members to produce highquality video content
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in video editing and production
• Implement feedback from stakeholders to enhance the overall quality of video content
• Contribute to the development of video production strategies and processes
• Remain informed about healthcare best practices and terminology to accurately represent healthcarerelated topics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Film Media Production or related field
• Proven experience working as a video editor in the healthcare domain
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing video editing skills and knowledge of healthcarerelated content
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling
• Proactive approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking in a dynamic work setting
• Ability to communicate effectively and receive constructive feedback from stakeholders
• Familiarity with audio editing and color correction techniques
• Understanding of video compression and formatting for various distribution channels
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation principles is advantageous
• Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures is a plus
• Portfolio demonstrating successful collaboration with content creators directors and other team members
