Guest Service Representative
Overview:
As a Guest Service Representative you will be the first point of contact for guests and will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service address guest inquiries and issues and contribute to the overall success of the hospitality establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Handle guest checkins and checkouts efficiently
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the facility and its amenities
- Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
- Process reservations and cancellations following established procedures
- Assist with administrative tasks such as handling phone calls and emails
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Participate in training and development programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer service role
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact
- Strong problemsolving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
