Job Description
Job title: RN Labor and Delivery *Nights* 13302
Location: Santa Monica CA
Employment type: Fulltime 12hour Night shifts
About Us: Our Health Center in Santa Monica CA is renowned for innovation advanced technology and exceptional obstetrical care. We are on the Magnet journey and recently received a 5star rating for quality safe care from CMS. Our fastpaced Labor and Delivery unit welcomes over 2200 babies annually and includes a level 3 NICU for highrisk infants. We offer a dynamic environment with opportunities to care for laboring patients circulate in the OR provide PACU services and attend to highrisk postpartum and OB triage patients with emergent conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for laboring patients
- Circulate in the OR
- Provide PACU services
- Attend to highrisk postpartum and OB triage patients with emergent conditions
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider NRP American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire
- 2 years of nursing experience
Ideal Candidate:
- 12 years of work experience as an RN in Labor and Delivery Antepartum and/or Obstetrics Operative
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in an Acute Care setting
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) from American Academy of Pediatrics
- Completed AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course
- Active BLS PALS ACLS through American Heart Association
