SAP BIBW Senior Consultant

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SAP BI/BW.
• Design and develop data models ETL processes and data integration strategies within the SAP BI/BW environment.
• Configure and customize SAP BW data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
• Implement and maintain SAP BW data objects including InfoObjects DataStore Objects InfoCubes and MultiProviders.
• Develop and optimize SAP BW queries and reports for efficient data analysis and visualization.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and end users on SAP BI/BW functionalities.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP BI/BW solutions with other enterprise systems.
• Perform system enhancements upgrades and patches for SAP BI/BW modules.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting activities to optimize the SAP BI/BW environment.
• Conduct regular system assessments audits and monitoring to ensure data quality and system reliability.
• Stay updated with SAP BI/BW best practices industry trends and technological advancements to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
• 5 years of handson experience in SAP BI/BW development and implementation.
• Proficient in SAP BW data modeling including proficiency with InfoProviders CompositeProviders and Advanced DSOs.
• Extensive experience with SAP BW ETL processes using tools like SAP Data Services SAP BusinessObjects Data Services or any other ETL tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP BW reporting tools such as BEx Analyzer Web Application Designer and Analysis for Office.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW security concepts user administration and authorization management.
• Experience in SAP BW system performance optimization and system monitoring.
• Excellent understanding of SAP BW integration with SAP and nonSAP systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with an eye for detail.
• Good understanding of SAP HANA and its integration with SAP BW (optional).
• Certification in SAP BI/BW (optional).
