• This role requires full flexibility that would require you to pick up shifts on care in the kitchen and on housekeeping – full training will be provided.

Join us at Fleetwood Hall Care Home Sandstone Care Group’s residential home for older adults in Fleetwood Lancashire. The home has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment to all communal areas and is a beautiful modern environment.

As a Care Home Assistant your role may involve:

• undertaking any necessary training
• supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene eating and getting involved with daily activities
• providing emotional support and companionship
• maintaining high standards within the care home environment
• working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met
• Support the Chef/Cook and the rest of the catering team with providing fresh homecooked meals from scratch to our residents
• Maintaining a hygienic and compliant working environment
• providing a clean and beautifully presented environment for our residents
• ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to and effective infection control is maintained at all times
• working flexibly between the Home’s domestic and laundry departments if required

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
