Financial Controller - Hybrid

Our client is an awardwinning global Fresh Produce Supplier with offices across various countries including the USA UK and Italy. They work with over 2000 of the worlds most influential chefs in London Melbourne New York Miami Copenhagen Malm & Paris and are looking for a great Financial Controller to join their team.

This role will report to and support the CFO with various accounting and financerelated duties. The ideal candidate will be a proactive doer adept at Excel must be ACCA qualified or very nearly qualified must have previous Financial Controller experience and ideally also have some people management experience. It would be an added advantage if you also speak Italian Spanish or French.

About the role

Reporting to the CFO key responsibilities will include:

• Monthly management accounts preparation supervision
  
• Analysis of Variances and analysis
  
• Liaising with internal and external auditors
  
• Variance analysis and KPI reviews
  
• Assist the CFO in the development and improvement of internal systems
  
• Overall supervision of all tax filings in the UK and abroad
  

About you

• Previous FC experience
  
• Very solid experience in Sage 50 and QuickBooks
  
• Month end and audits experience
• Experience working in an inventorybased business/industry
  
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a Management Accounts or equivalent position
  
• Analytical mind strong attention to detail accuracy and problemsolving
  
• ACCAqualified or very nearly qualified
  
• Strong Excel skills
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  
• Maintaining a good sense of humour
  
• French Italian or Spanish language an advantage
