Position: LATAM: Insurance/Claims Adjuster

Working Hours: 8 am to 5 pm CST

Scope of role

to help us and customers through insurance claims. Insurance companies often try to lowball customers and we need to argue with them as to why their initial proposal to fix property damage isn't sufficient.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged properties to assess the extent of loss and document all relevant details.

• Review insurance policies to understand coverage limits exclusions and other pertinent terms that may affect the claim process.
• Compile comprehensive documentation including photographs repair estimates receipts and other evidence to support the claim.
• Engage in negotiations with insurance company representatives to secure fair settlements that adequately compensate policyholders for their losses.
• Serve as an advocate for customers throughout the claims process providing guidance support and representation to ensure their interests are protected.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients insurance companies contractors and other relevant parties to facilitate the timely resolution of claims.
• Resolve disputes and address any discrepancies or disagreements between policyholders and insurance providers through negotiation mediation or other appropriate channels.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards governing the public adjusting profession.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in the insurance property industry.
• Excellent English Communication Skills
• Proactively assertive with excellent negotiation skills
• Must be willing to be trained in Xactimate software
