Job Title: Direct Care Professional (Group Home)

Location: Angleton TX

Job Type: FullTime/PartTime

Salary Range: Competitive based on experience

About Us: Above and Beyond Caring is dedicated to providing highquality home and communitybased services (HCS) to individuals with developmental disabilities in Brazoria County. We strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes independence and enhances the quality of life for our clients.

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in our group home setting. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities implementing care plans and fostering a safe and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation.
  • Administer medications and monitor clients health under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
  • Implement individualized care plans and ensure they are followed accurately.
  • Encourage and support clients in developing independence and life skills.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments community outings and recreational activities.
  • Maintain a clean safe and supportive living environment for all residents.
  • Document and report any changes in clients conditions or behavior to the appropriate team members.
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients families and team members to ensure the highest quality of care.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare or related field is a plus.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Valid Texas drivers license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate patient and empathetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
