Job Description
To create provide quotes for and arrange trips to southern Africa for travelers through international agents for HighEnd clients.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client requirements including special interests needs and budget
- Provide timely quotes for all requested services
- Make reservations for all requested services
- Correspond with clients in writing and confirm reservations
- Input reservations into Tourplan
- Confirm services with suppliers
- Maintain ongoing communication with agents regarding reservation status payment terms deadlines and reservation conditions
- Organize Meet and Greets as needed
- Stay in touch with tour guides during tours
- Handle client complaints and emergencies
- Keep in touch with agents
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Preferably a qualification in Travel & Tourism
- 4 years of experience in FITTailor Making Travel consulting within the travel operating industry
- Knowledge of Tourplan with execution experience is preferred
Competencies:
- Understanding of customer needs and products
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers for availability and rates
- Strong knowledge of the Tourism industry
- Excellent familiarity with South African geography
Salary:
