Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our companys cloud infrastructure automation tools and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development teams system administrators and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain highly available scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
  
• Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration management and application deployments using tools like Terraform Ansible Puppet or Chef.
  
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery leveraging tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
  
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for infrastructure and applications ensuring proper visibility and troubleshooting capabilities.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for containerization and container orchestration using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Participate in the design and implementation of disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
  
• Promote and enforce DevOps culture practices and tools within the organization fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.
  
• Continuously improve processes tools and infrastructure to enhance efficiency reliability and security.
  

Requirements

• 57 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role with a strong understanding of cloud computing automation and CI/CD practices.
  
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell and experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Terraform or Puppet.
  
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Splunk.
  
• Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform and their associated services.
  
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across crossfunctional teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR PCIDSS SOC 2).
  
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  
• AWS Solution Architect Certification
