Job Description

Teamworx are looking for a Mechanical Fitter for their client based in D11. Do you have 4 years of proven experience working in a maintenance role at a manufacturing facility preferably in a brewing / canning / bottling / dairy environment.

Job Mission

To support the Engineering Manager to safeguard the reliability efficiency and safety of our production equipment and infrastructure. To collaborate with various teams to maintain troubleshoot and optimize machinery ensuring uninterrupted beverage production.


Key Responsibilities


Conduct routine inspections and monitoring of packaging machines pumps valves conveyors motors and other machinery.

Execute preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Perform reactive maintenance by diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to identify and rectify faults promptly.

Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Follow SOPs GMPs and fill uptodate records of maintenance activities including inspections repairs and replacements.

Maintain the record of the inventory of spare parts / tools used.

Collaborate and work closely with other brewery personnel especially production and quality control to address urgent maintenance issues to understand their needs and address maintenancerelated concerns.


Key Requirements


Mechanical skills to operate machinery & tools including power tools and work with a variety of mechanical parts and systems optimally and safely.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify and rectify faults of machinery and equipment in either of brewing / canning / bottling / dairy environment.

Do basic machining tasks drilling cutting etc. optimally and safely.

Attention to detail to ensure parts are fitted and installed correctly.

Timemanagement skills to complete tasks within a given timeframe efficiently

Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a team and communicate with other colleagues and managers.

Basic welding skills are desirable.

Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (faceshield gloves etc.)
