Currently we are seeking a International Tax Manager for one of our clients that is a leading multination corporation.
Position: International Tax Manager
Location: Hybrid Santa Clara CA
Duration: 6 Months ( 23 days onsite)
Work Schedule:
- Experience: 5 years of corporate tax experience including US multinational corporations and public accounting
- US international tax experience with a USheadquartered multinational corporation wellversed in ASC740 principles and an understanding of transfer pricing concepts
- Selfstarter with good judgment and strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and produce highquality work in a fastpaced environment
- Detailoriented and a quick learner with a positive can do attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Excel Alteryx and NetSuite
Education:
- Bachelors degree in US GAAP Accounting or Finance required; US CPA and/or Masters in US Taxation a plus
- Experience:
- This role is responsible for US GAAP foreign tax provision computation and reporting US international tax compliance and transfer pricing computations
- Prepare and review quarterly and yearend US GAAP income tax provision regarding foreign subsidiaries and affiliates under ASC740
- Prepare and review US international tax attributes and positions during the quarterly tax provision and forecasting processes and computing E&P subpart F GILTI FDII FTC BEAT etc
- Prepare and Review USfocused international tax compliance including the US tax return workpaper and international forms for the US 1120 such as 1120F 5471s 8858sand 1118s. An understanding of the 861expense allocation process for FTC and FDII required.
- Prepare and review quarterly transfer pricing and intercompany calculations according to the Companys transfer pricing policies
- Monitor US international and foreign legislative and regulatory changes (including OECD guidelines on Pillar 2)
- Research analyze and draft technical memoranda on US international tax issues
- Assist with implementing process improvements
- Assist with special tax projects as assigned
- Support local foreign country tax return processes on an asneeded basis
- Assist with reviewing statutory financial statements and associated tax provision
- This role will report to the Senior Tax Manager US International Tax
Requirements
- URGENT fill and Limited Interview time for hiring team due to Q1 close
- Initial Length: 6 months with high possibility of extension and conversion depending on performance and team fit
- HYBRID minimum of 3 days onsite at the Santa Clara CA office
NOTES:
- looking for a candidate that intends to and would prefer to be converted to permanent hire conversion depending on performance and team fit.
- Minimum of 3 days onsite work is required if converting to permanent employees (after contracting period) candidate MUST be willing to work minimum 3 days on site.
- The individual MUST have public accounting experience in the US preferably in international taxes.
- Manager prefers not to have overqualified candidates director and above
