Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Performs day to day server administration task for RHEL and Suse enterprise serverscoordinates with relevant team principal vendors to ensure customer issues are getting fixed with
in SLA. - Performs Security and Kernel patching hands on experience in Suse OS upgrades and Redhat Migration from 6.x to 7.x version.
- Proactive problem management ensuring repetitive incidents are eliminate
- Should be able to handle P1 and P2 incidents independently and do deep drive technical troubleshooting able provide root cause analysis report.
- Change management process should be well versed in ITIL process responsible for changeplanning and execution.
- Required to work in 24*7 shift roster Performs specific delivery management activities.
- Working environment knowledge in Sap application and Sap HANA/oracle database.
- Knowledge about scripting python shell script should be able to automate day to day administration and mundane activities.
- Well versed in monitoring tools should be able to fine tune monitoring parameters and recommend the best practices.
- Knowledge on configuration management tools like salt ansible puppet chef would be added
advantage.
Essential Requirements:
- 5 8 years relevant SUSE and Redhat administration experience with a Bachelor or Master
Degree. - Managing systems and troubleshooting Redhat and Suse enterprise Servers and Windows
(optional) - Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware) and Client storage product.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning upgrades and resource optimization as directed.
- Solid troubleshooting methods ability to interface with client organization and follow through on projects
- Troubleshoot and diagnose advanced Linux server issues including reliability issues performance concerns and software bugs.
- Strong Organizing and planning skills to oversee customer operations solid problem solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge about scripting python shell script should be able to automate day to day administration and mundane activities
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift configuration implementation and support.
- Expertise with Kubernetes.
- Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
- Prefered Openshift certificied (D0280/EX280) administrator.
Desirable Requirements:
- RHCSA and RHCE certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification or coursework
- Excellent customer service attitude and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Selfstarter works well with little oversight and prioritizes own work appropriately
- Knowledge about configuration tools like salt ansible puppet chef

Mandatory Skills 3 Must have:
- Linux SUSE OS Skills
