Job title: Accounts Payable / Staff Accountant
Location: Oakland NJ (Fultime perm job)
Hybrid (Onsite: Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday Remote: Monday and Friday)
Pay: $60k 70k per annum with benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all SG&A Accounts Payable (nonmerchandise related) for all entities. Enter and pay all invoices in a timely manner.
- Balance sheet account reconciliation for multiple accounts including but not limited to Suspense and Prepaid accounts.
- Preparation and entry of weekly payroll entries for multiple entities; familiarity with ADP reporting a plus.
- Maintain daily credit card receipt reconciliation worksheet.
- Responsible for saving all monthly reports to dedicate month end folder; includes making sure that all reports tie to the GL
- Responsible for all employee expense reimbursement checks.
- Completion of all quarterly and yearly census reporting requirements.
- Assist with company audits as requested.
- Ad hoc tasks as requested.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 35 years of related accounting and AP experience
- Competency in MS Office databases and accounting software preferred. Experience with Great Plains / Microsoft Dynamics a big plus
- Strong attention to detail ability to work independently wellorganized selfstarter.
