Job Description


The MLH Group is a privatelyowned company with interests in various sectors including management services distribution facilities management construction and maintenance call center services and ICT management. We maintain acquire and grow businesses through business process reengineering.The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the construction sites and reporting to the Project Manager.


Responsibilities
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors throughout all stages of site preparation and buildout.
  • Ensure teams work together to deliver quality work and meet deadlines.
  • Monitor construction processes and provide training and team building sessions as required.
  • Conduct daily inspections for compliance and site safety.
  • Perform equipment material and routine site inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Travel to and supervise multiple sites.
  • Maintain accurate records including daily logs for all project activities.
  • Meet operational standards by resolving problems contributing information to strategic plans and identifying improvements.
  • Prepare schedules work progress production and other reports.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments/subcontractors/supervisors/managers.
  • Maintain professional relationships with the project team subcontractors and vendors.
  • Readily communicate issues with all involved parties.
  • Report all project updates to Project Manager.


Requirements

  • Honesty and integrity.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work and supervise projects within a stipulated time frame or deadline.
  • Ability to multitask and strategize in different situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership ability as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
  • Computer proficient with experience in MS Excel and Word
  • Valid driver s license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Bachelor s degree in construction business management or engineering would be a plus.
  • At least 3 years professional working experience in a similar role.
