AI Game Designer Dialogue

IO Interactive is currently looking for an AI Game Designer (Dialogue)to join Project 007 a brandnew James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI. Featuring a wholly original Bond story players will step into the shoes of the worlds favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.

In this role you will be the linchpin between our design and narrative teams championing the importance of AI dialogue in our games. You will collaborate closely with our writers designers and QA team to ensure seamless integration of narrative elements into gameplay. We are looking for someone who can foster efficient and productive relationships between writers and designers and bring a confident voice to the AI dialogue process.

What you will do:

• Serve as the key liaison between the design and narrative teams advocating for the importance of AI dialogue.
• Collaborate with writers designers and QA to develop and implement compelling narrative experiences.
• Champion the AI Dialogue teams needs and requirements to the game design team.
• Utilize engine knowledge to set up test cases and custom triggers for dialogue systems.
• Communicate effectively with the technical team to address any AIrelated issues or requirements.
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in AI dialogue technology.

Who you are:

• An experienced Game Designer with both skill and passion for AI design.
• Experience working in the AAA games industry.
• Strong passion for dialogue and AI dialogue systems.
• Broad knowledge of systemic dialog design and implementation.
• Ability to champion the importance of AI dialogue to the rest of the game design team.
• Knowledge of game engines and experience setting up custom triggers for dialogue systems.
• A eye for detail with a methodical approach to testing and iteration.
• Familiarity with game development pipelines and processes.
