Junior Software Test Engineer (parttime)
(f/m/d)

Within our growing team of experts you will be responsible for the development and optimization of software to drive laser beam scanner systems. The responsibilities also include the creation of a video pipeline on modern host systems utilizing GPU acceleration. Take part in developing and improving the system architecture of current and future laser beam scanner systems. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment applying your expertise to design implement and optimize software that powers our stateoftheart laser scanning solutions.

Your responsibilities:

Design and develop test cases for controlling and driving laser beam scanning systems in Python.

Requirements engineering and code management with GitLab.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate test automation for laser scanning products.

Optimize existing software and develop test methodologies to insure functionality and code quality in an innovative research and development team.

Create robust and stateoftheart software using CD/CI.

Identify and address softwarerelated issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.

Contribute to the documentation and training materials for the developed software components.

Your qualifications:

Currently enrolled in Computer Science and motivated to become a professional with us.

Focus on test driven development is a plus.

Strong Proficiency in Git.

Proficiency in Python as test framework.

Interest in Embedded Systems.

Proficiency in Linux and IaC.

Strong problemsolving and debugging skills.

Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
