Sponsorships Performance Manager

This role holds strategic importance for the sponsorship team and is fully accountable to design and implement a holistic Return on Investment and Return on Objectives performance management model across Qatar Airways (QR) sponsorship portfolio. The role also plays a central role in driving data-driven decision-making within sponsorships, events, exhibition. Responsible for business intelligence and sponsorship performance, delivering tangible business improvements and implanting best practice to optimize commercial sponsorships campaigns and cost efficiencies As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following: • Design and implement a tailored performance management model for each sponsored property, based on specific KPIs and develop reports to track and measure performance metrics. • Serve as the primary point of contact for finance on all phases of budgeting and expense tracking process along with it to collect and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party tools, and market research. • Create compelling presentations that conveys analytical insights and actionable recommendations to leadership and stakeholders • Providing insight and guidance to a team of account managers and to develop analytical skills, increase performance and ensure thorough consistency and innovation. • Responsible for validating pre and post sponsorship evaluation projects, using the required tools and liaising with partner agencies (e.g. Nielsen) to ensure maximum ROI across portfolio and assets (including but not limited to Ticketing and Perimeter Boards branding optimization) • Develop new internal sponsorship evaluation tools and reporting dashboard to identify gaps and area of improvements for business to achieve internal targets by increasing ROI or reducing costs. • Work closely with sponsorship teams to actively manage sponsorship ROI to achieve the business commercial strategy by having a complete understanding of its performance, costs and opportunities. • Consult the data Group’s Data Protection Officer in matters related to data protection and privacy as appropriate. • Oversee and supervise employees. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 6+ years of job-related experience • Previous experience in sports sponsorship industry or airline practicing point of sale origin and destination controls. • Business Analysis Certification • Outstanding written and verbal communication in English with excellent influencing capabilities • Advanced Project management ability About Qatar Airways Group Our story started with four aircrafts.
