Lead Engineer e-Powertrain Design

• Design and develop cooling system HEX modules Fan and Shroud Assy for EV and xHEV applications
  
• Should have a clear understanding of cooling system functioning
  
• Good understanding of system level as well as component level working
  
• Knowledge of 3 in one traction motor system (MotorMCUTransmission) design sizing and selection
  
• Good understanding of motor curves efficiency maps drive cycles & electrical aspects
  
• Good understanding of traction motor packaging on motor mounts design
  
• Working knowledge on traction motor packaging bolt selection & bolt analysis
  
• Working knowledge of PLM systems (Team Centre)
  
• Ability to benchmark and provide innovative approach for a problem
  
• Should have good understanding of packaging mounting & fixing of traction motor in vehicle environment
  
• Complete understanding of product development cycle for typical automotive vehicle program
  
• Good understanding on GD&T and tolerance stack up analysis
  
• Ability to interact with cross functional teams like CAE/Technical Service/Module Leads interpret CAE results and suggest corrective actions
  

Requirements

• Total experience of more than 8 years in powertrain system with recent experience in EDU/epowertrain
  
• Ability to create parametric models using CATIA V5 preferred
  
• Knowledge of integration of traction motor peripheral system components in a vehicle
  
• Strong skills on 4d documents DFM/DFA/DFS/DFMEA 17.Good understanding of test & validation of commodities (DVP)
  
• Good understanding of manufacturing process Casting & sheet metal
  
• Should be a good team player
  
• Strong written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Must have good analytical and problem solving skills
  
• Should be able to independently interact with customer and suppliers
  
• Awareness and experience in implementing project processes
