Role Summary:

As a Remote IT Support Specialist at Peak Design you will play a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of their IT systems and providing remote technical assistance. This position offers a unique opportunity to work from anywhere supporting a diverse team from design CAD engineers and marketing to sales.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide firstlevel technical support to endusers via phone email helpdesk or Slack.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems for desktops laptops (mostly Mac) printers and other peripherals via Remote Desktop.
  • Assist in Install configure and troubleshoot software applications operating systems and networkrelated issues.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts permissions and passwords within Okta.
  • Collaborate with other members to deploy and upgrade hardware and software systems.
  • Perform routine system maintenance and ensure data backups are conducted regularly.
  • Assist with Cisco/Unifi network and server maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Document support processes solutions and FAQs for knowledge sharing.


Requirements


  • 23 years of experience in an IT services/helpdesk environment
  • Selfmotivated autonomous and resourceful
  • Strong problem solver
  • Organized like writing details notes and summaries
  • Clear communicator
  • Customerfocused attitude with a commitment to delivering highquality support.
