We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our clients team and play a crucial role in performing CT scans and procedures under the supervision of qualified physicians for diagnosis treatment and prevention of diseases. As a CT Technologist you will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions administer IV contrast media and conduct scans following established protocols. Your knowledge of radiation exposure to patients will be essential in making technical adjustments based on body habitus age and ALARA principles. Providing direct patient care to individuals of all ages your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that every patient is treated with respect and courtesy and receives a clear explanation of the examination process. Your ability to collaborate with others will contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
Must Haves:
- 1 2 years of experience in CT
- Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the organizations core values mission and vision.
- Complete all duties as required and follow departmental policies and procedures.
- Stay uptodate with current knowledge in your field through selfeducation and participation in ongoing educational programs.
- Attend staff meetings mandatory inservices and meet competency evaluations promptly.
- Demonstrate competency in providing care to patients of all ages considering their individual needs based on age sex and weight. For nonclinical areas apply agespecific customer service skills if applicable.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as necessary.
- Vocational / Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
- Required Certifications/Licensures: Certified Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Basic Life Support (BLS)
