Position Overview

The NPD Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the creation of new jewellery collections from concept to market. This role requires a blend of creativity strategic thinking and project management skills to ensure the successful launch of innovative and commercially viable jewellery products.

Role and Responsibilities

New Product Development:

Lead the endtoend product development process for new jewellery collections.

Collaborate with designers gemologists and production teams to develop concepts and prototypes.

Ensure all designs align with brand aesthetics and market trends.

Market Research and Trend Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify consumer needs market gaps and emerging trends.

Analyze competitors and industry trends to inform product development strategies.

Project Management:

Develop and manage project timelines budgets and resources for NPD projects.

Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including design manufacturing marketing and sales.

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation of the product development process.

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and milestones.

Preferred skills and experience:

Strong understanding of jewellery design manufacturing processes and materials.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.

Qualifications:

Education: Advanced degrees or certifications in Jewellery Design or Gemology are a plus.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Experience: Minimum of 3years experience in product development within the jewellery industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
