Mechanical Piping Supervisor

JWR Employment Specialists are working with a Mechanical and Engineering Company who are specialists in bespoke fabrication to recruit a Mechanical Piping Supervisor for ongoing projects in Dublin.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working on site supervising a team of 510 people

Management of all day to day on site operations

Management of subcontractor activities including tracking progress

Attendance at Site Meetings Internal Project Reviews Engineering Reviews Planning and Coordination Meetings and Handover Meetings.

Ensure correct revision drawings are being used for the completion of construction activities

Ability to carry out and read piping isometric drawings and PNID s

Issue internal weekly progress reports

Onsite coordination with contractors site foreman and other relevant personnel

Creating and enforcing employee schedules and construction timeline

Ensuring works are completed to a high standard

Provide any necessary technical back up to resolve engineering queries on site

Ensure equipment is on hand as required

Safety audits and monitoring safety performance on site

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience within mechanical engineering required

Previous management or supervisory experience within construction required

Relevant qualification

Excellent knowledge of piping isometric drawings and PNID s essential

Hold excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems and products

Excellent communication and reporting skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook

Strong leadership skills

Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large projects
