Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience in gathering requirements analyzing user stories conducting gap analyses and preparing for business change. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problemsolver with excellent communication and leadership skills. As a Lead Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions driving organizational change and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the requirements gathering process by collaborating with stakeholders to elicit analyze validate and document business requirements and user stories.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current and desired states and propose effective solutions to address business needs.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business process flows use cases data models and other relevant artifacts.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts fostering their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with project managers developers and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and project deliverables.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings workshops and requirements elicitation sessions to drive consensus and resolve conflicts.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of software solutions ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Proactively identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Stay current with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies related to business analysis and project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Systems Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on gathering requirements conducting gap analyses and facilitating business change.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior team members and lead crossfunctional project teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques such as process modeling data analysis and requirement elicitation.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP PMIPBA) is a plus.
- Experience in specific industries or domains (e.g. finance healthcare ecommerce) may be beneficial but not required.
