Job Description

TrisianGlobal Consulting LLC is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist for a fulltime permanent position in the Memphis area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes and procedures along with excellent organizational and communication skills. This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely payment of vendor invoices and processing and reconciling prepayments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review all invoices and expense reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and expense reports
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate accounts payable records
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve any payment issues or inquiries
  • Assist with monthend close and yearend audit processes
  • Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Train and mentor junior accounts payable staff
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and changes in accounts payable regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable preferably in a senior or lead role
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and use of Oracle computerized payables system Kofax or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines



The Accounts Payable Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the timely payment of trade vendor invoices and processing and reconciling prepayments. This position also reconciles supplier statements and resolves processing issues.

The employees primary duty must be the performance of office or nonmanual work directly related to the management or general business operations of Helena or Helenas customers. This also includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.

What your day may look like

  • Researches accounts payable issues and effectively communicates resolutions to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Reconciles vendor statements and accounts payable general ledger accounts.
  • Completes assignments according to schedule.
  • Monitors and schedules the team workload.
  • Trains and mentors team members.
  • Verifies correctness of information on accounts payable accrual at month end.
  • Processes payables reports as needed.
  • Other workrelated duties as assigned by leader.
  • Reliable and regular attendance is expected.

Education and experience needed for this position

  • Associates degree is preferred.
  • Five to seven years of experience in accounts payable invoice processing research reconciliation and analysis is required.

  • Advanced computer skills including experience with the Microsoft Office.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use 10key adding machine.
  • Typing skills.

Your work environment and the physical aspects of the job

The work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk hear walk stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
