The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) seeks to digitize and automate current paperbased records to streamline access to information across the agency. VDH is digitizing its paperbased records for storage and management in SharePoint. VDH seeks a SharePoint Architect to support the digitization effort by creating and managing SharePoint sites for customers across the agency.
- Advise customers on SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform features and how they apply to their unique needs

Implement an agencywide records and document management automation system
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create consistent userfriendly design and implementation approach
- Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements
- Create complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate
- Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure 508 compliance adherence to VDH design standards and provide a seamless user experience
- Understand and troubleshoot security issues customer questions and other inquiries as needed

Understand and apply VDHapproved standards and processes

Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies create and managing file plans and build simple workflows and processes
- Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines
- Identify and escalate items that are architecturally significant and thereby affect development design/approach/solution
- Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts
