We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our growing team and help us create usercentric designs that delight and engage our customers.

Position: UI/UX Designer

Work Location: Reston VA (Hybrid)

Client: AmeriCorps

Security: Must be able to obtain T4 (Public Trust) Clearance

Primary Responsibilities

• User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research interviews and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs and behaviors.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes prototypes and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
• Visual Design: Design highfidelity UI mockups that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional adhering to brand guidelines and design principles.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
• Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback and iteratively improve designs.
• Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system and style guide.
• Stay Current: Keep uptodate with the latest design trends tools and technologies to continuously improve our design processes and outputs.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final products.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Design HCI Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch Figma Adobe XD or similar.
  • Strong understanding of usercentered design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and frontend development principles is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong problemsolving skills adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

Work Schedule: Hybrid (9am 6pm) Minimum of 2 days in the office required
