Job Title: Spinal Cord Injury Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Spinal Cord Injury Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with the American Nursing Associations Standards of Care and Professional Performance. The role involves assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health and develop care plans
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses
• Perform headtotoe assessments administer medications and provide wound and tracheostomy care
• Insert IV lines and care for PICC lines
• Conduct ventilator and suctioning procedures
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and medications
• Respond to emergencies and perform Continuous Protective Observation (CPO)
• Provide clinical oversight to LPNs CNAs and Health Technicians
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe care environment

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited Nursing program
• Current and unrestricted RN license in the U.S.
• ACLS/BLS certification recognized by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1year SCI or 2years Med/Surg experience
• Ventilator experience preferred
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (Oracle Cerner preferred)
