Job Description

Overview:
TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. The client below is a home appliance manufacturing company and the worlds second largest appliance maker. It produces a variety of products intended for home consumers.
Position: Appliance Testing Lab Technician (Validation lab)
Location: Charlotte NC 28269
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:
  • This position focuses on the testing and evaluation of washers and dryers ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance safety and reliability. The successful candidate will work within our stateoftheart laboratory conducting a range of tests to support product development and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Testing and Evaluation:
  • Conduct comprehensive performance tests on washers and dryers according to established protocols and standards.
  • Perform durability efficiency and safety tests to ensure products meet quality criteria.
  • Record and analyze test data identifying any deviations or issues that arise during testing.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests conducted including methodologies results and observations.
  • Prepare clear and concise test reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations for product improvements.
Equipment Maintenance:
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and consistent test results.
    Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or inconsistencies promptly.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product development engineers quality assurance teams and other stakeholders to communicate test results and support product enhancements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education (Preference)
  • Associate degree or higher in a related technical field (e.g. Engineering Technology Mechanical Engineering Applied Sciences).
Experience (Preference)
  • Previous experience in a laboratory setting preferably within the appliance industry or a related field.
    Familiarity with testing procedures and standards for household appliances particularly washers and dryers.
Skills:
  • Strong technical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex testing protocols.
  • Proficient in data collection analysis and report writing.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to move heavy appliances as needed for testing.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Start
